"Meio no Meio" will question the here and now, looking into the future of some and into the past of others. Throughout two years, all the participants, that are in distinct fases of their lives, will learn about five artistic subjects. In the third year, a show that articulates all of these subjects will be made. "Meio no Meio" is thought of as a piece in some way focused on dance and cinema, but the idea is also to showcase the creation process and include the testimonials of the participants themselves, in an exercise of documental theatre. Deep down, it is a project that sits between the projections for the future and the accomplishments of the past. Its point of equilibrium will be exactly that intersection.

With artistic direction by Victor Hugo Pontes, is an Artemrede project in partnership with Nome Próprio, RUMO-cooperativa de solidariedade, CIES-ISCTE and the cities of Almada, Barreiro, Moita and Lisbon, supported by the Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian's PARTIS program.
